US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says regional banks have come under stress but the financial system overall is “well-capitalized” and lenders have “very solid earnings.” She made the comments in an interview with Annmarie Hordern on the sidelines of a Group of Seven gathering of finance officials in Niigata, Japan.
